Our Impact
Who We Are
The Jayendra Alumni Network (JAN) is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by graduates of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal Higher Secondary School in Sankar Nagar, Tamil Nadu. We channel the gratitude and resources of our global alumni community back to the students and campus that shaped us.
Our alumni span continents and careers, yet share a common bond: the belief that every child deserves a quality education regardless of financial circumstance. JAN bridges that gap by funding scholarships, mentorship programs, and infrastructure improvements that directly benefit students today.
Founded in 2023, JAN is entirely volunteer-run. Every dollar donated goes directly to programs — no administrative overhead, no middlemen, just meaningful impact for the school community we love.

Higher Secondary School
Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal Golden Jubilee Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in 1981 in Sankar Nagar to provide quality, value-based education. Over the decades it has become a respected institution with consistent academic achievements.
Many of our students come from families with limited means. A scholarship, a mentor, or a better-equipped classroom can change a child's entire trajectory — and that is precisely why JAN exists.
What We Support
Every initiative we fund connects directly to student outcomes.
